HURRICANE RELIEF
Hurricanes leave a lasting impact on the communities they touch. We are committed to helping these communities for the months and years that it takes to recover. Our hurricane relief efforts are year-round.
POINT-AUX-CHEN
While working Hurricane Ida relief we came across the Pointe-aux-Chien tribe in Terrebonne Parish. Their entire community has only 12 homes left that were not destroyed by the storm. Our team was inspired by their resilience, unique history, and community. In an effort to help the Pointe-au-Chien tribe preserve their history and their land Texas Relief Warriors has committed to helping them recover and rebuild.
Ukraine War Relief
The past week we connected with several organizations providing relief supplies in Ukraine and on its borders. We have decided to send an 8 x 40 x 9 shipping container of relief supplies and medical supplies. We will be coordinating logistics with the World of Connections Program which has successfully sent shipments into Poland already. If you would like to help click the link below. The cost for the shipment is $7,000 USD and World of Connections Program is matching our donations.
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
Supporting our community on an ongoing basis is just as important as disaster response. And the most important part of our community is our children.. We believe in building up these children and inspiring them to do good. Our team offers support to low-income schools in the Houston area, including efforts to engage with schools and teach kids about disaster relief.
